Terms of service

These are the rules of the road for using Rewarding Resources. They cover what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. We've kept the language plain - no clever tricks, no buried clauses.

1.Who we are

Rewarding Resources is an Australian teaching-resources marketplace operated by Rewarding Resources Pty Ltd (ABN forthcoming). We connect classroom teachers who create original resources with colleagues who need them. Our registered office is in Perth, Western Australia.

2.Your account

You need an account to buy or sell on the platform. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for any activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorised access, contact us straight away via our contact form.

3.What you're licensing when you buy

When you purchase a resource, you receive a single-user, non-transferable licence to use it in your own classroom or school. You may adapt the resource for your students, but you may not redistribute it, upload it to public-facing sites, or share it with teachers at other schools. The original creator retains copyright at all times.

4.Acceptable use

You agree to use Rewarding Resources lawfully and respectfully. Don't upload content you don't own, don't misrepresent your identity or qualifications, and don't use automated tools to scrape or bulk-download resources. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach these expectations.

5.Intellectual property

Sellers retain full ownership of the resources they upload. By listing a resource, you grant us a non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and promote it on the platform. We will never claim ownership of your work, and we won't sell or sublicence it outside the marketplace.

6.Refunds and disputes

Buyers may request a refund within 30 days of purchase if a resource is not as described. Sellers have 7 days to respond to a refund request; if no response is received, the refund is automatically approved. Full details are in our separate Refund policy.

7.Our right to remove content

We may remove or restrict access to any listing that breaches these terms, infringes copyright, or is reported by other users. We'll notify the seller and explain the reason wherever possible. Repeated violations may result in permanent account suspension.

8.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the revised version here and update the date at the top. For significant changes, we'll notify you by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date means you accept the updated terms.

9.Limitation of liability

We do our best to keep the platform running smoothly, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by Australian Consumer Law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months preceding a claim. Nothing in these terms excludes guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

10.Contact with complaints

If something isn't right, we want to hear about it. You can reach us through the contact form on our website. We aim to acknowledge complaints within two business days and resolve them within 14 days.
