Our story
We started with one frustration: nothing fit our actual classrooms.
Before Rewarding Resources, finding high-quality Australian-curriculum resources was like going to a library that only stocks overseas textbooks. Marketplaces existed, sure - but they were built for US Common Core, and the Australian content was sparse, inconsistently tagged, and rarely mapped to the actual codes you needed for your unit plan.
We got frustrated spending whole Sunday afternoons re-writing worksheets that should have already existed. The resources were out there - sitting on teacher hard drives, shared folders, and dusty USB sticks - but there was no good way to find, share, or pay for them.
So we built Rewarding Resources: a marketplace where every resource is tagged to Australian Curriculum v9, WACE, VCE, or QCE descriptor codes. You search by your actual syllabus, not by keyword. And when you find something that works, the teacher who made it earns 80% of the GST-exclusive sale value - because they did the real work.
We handle the GST, the tax invoices, the payouts, and the tech. You handle the classroom. That's the deal.

We take a 20% platform commission on the GST-exclusive sale value. No hidden fees, no listing charges, no premium tiers. The teacher who created the resource keeps the lion’s share - because they did the actual work.
Free updates, forever access
When you buy a resource, it’s yours. If the seller publishes an update - new pages, fixed typos, refreshed data - you get it free. No re-purchase, no subscription, no expiry date.
ATO-compliant tax invoices
We’re the marketplace seller-of-record for GST purposes. Every purchase generates a proper tax invoice from Rewarding Resources. No chasing sellers for receipts at BAS time.

We're proudly Australian-owned and based in Boorloo / Perth. The platform is built and powered by a small engineering team alongside practising teachers who keep the curriculum data honest. Decisions get made on what's good for teachers, not what would impress a VC.
